Extremely laggy area near Wet Wolf Creek on ROCKtropia

The whole area around Wet Wolf Creek / City of Dreams is extremely laggy compared to any other area in the game. My FPS slows down to a crawl and I have to set every graphics setting to low to get anything stable. It seem to only affect that specific area.
